In the beginning there was Funk ...

One fine day two young men, a guitarist, aka Heavy Dude and a bassman, aka Greyhound, were at this great party. Both were drunk on Funk and on a quest for a suitable drummer.

They asked around if anyone knew someone who would fit the profile : young, enthousiastic, a musical genious, but above all, funkalicious and religious.

Enter Showboy.

The sound of Funk keeps falling in our minds

The three young men had little choice but to spread the gospel of Funk. For the sound of Funk was with them. Where-ever they went, whatever they did. One could say they were doomed, others say blessed.

Keeping the faith - a difficult task

Spreading the sounds of Funk was not that easy as many had not yet accepted this new state of mind. But they stood their ground and brought the gospel of Funk to whomever would listen. Difficult times had to be overcome, rough seas had to be swum. Still so. But there is a light shining over yonder ...
